At Greenfield Chennai International School we are committed to providing a quality education for every child. K – 12 system of education is about ensuring basic elementary education to students from Kindergarten to the 12th grade.

Leadership
At the helm of affairs
Dr. Jacob George, Chairman of Greenfield Chennai International School, and Managing Trustee of the St. George Educational Trust is committed to providing quality education to the children in the School. He is not only a committed Educationist but also a successful entrepreneur, a great philanthropist and a person actively involved in church activities. He is an industrialist of repute with global connections and has established industries in South America, Laos, Africa and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. As Chairman of the School he is committed to making GCIS a centre for academic excellence.
Shri. George Jacob is a lawyer by profession having graduated from the School of Excellence, Ambedkar Law University. He went on to do his Post Graduation in International Business Law at University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He has completed a course in International Business from London School of Economics, United Kingdom. After a stint in The Madras High Court, specializing in Banking Law he has now committed himself to the cause of Education. He served as CEO of the Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Sriperumbudur and now as a Director of the school, he is committed to making GCIS a fine institution in every way. He has a great vision and mission for the students who enter the portals of the School and is all set to take the School to great heights of excellence in every sphere.
Ms. Leema Jacob is an accomplished and dynamic individual, driven by an unending source of self-motivation. She holds a Post Graduate Management degree, with extensive experience in India and Qatar. Her distinguished level spans relationship management, administration, and marketing, positioning them as a beacon of excellence in educational leadership. Her unrelenting commitment to fostering growth and steadfast dedication to nurturing progress creates a thriving educational environment which is evident in transforming student experiences, and the cultivation of a harmonious, empowered staff. Her commitment to excellence is poised in making a lasting impact on the educational landscape at GCIS.
A graduate in Science and a Post Graduate in Arts, has also done Business Administration from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada and Public Administration from Royal Institute of Public Administration, London, U.K. During his service in the IAS he has held several positions of responsibility and has served as Chairman and Managing Director of important Public Sector undertakings. He has been a member of the State Planning Commission and has served as member in many important committees of Government of India and Government of Tamil Nadu. After leaving Government service, he is now associated with the Private Sectors.
Aleyamma is a seasoned educator with over 25 years of experience in the field of education. Her formal education includes an MS in Development Economics, M.Phil. in Labour Economics and B.Ed. She is a certified e-tutor trainer. As an Educator she believes that every moment a child spends within the school portal should be filled with the planned meaningful learning experiences. She believes in simplicity, smart work and impact through her work. Mrs. Aleyamma Mathew has been awarded the India Prime Quality Education Award 2021 for displaying traits of sincerity, dedication & hard work in the field of education, Real Super Women Award for Chennai City by Forever Star India Awards for her Academic Skills and Education Icon Award for Student Development by Kites Kraft Production.
Sandhya holds a Master’s Degree in English and B.Ed. With over nineteen years of experience, she’s a passionate educator with a strong background in education and leadership. Her expertise spans teaching students from Kindergarten up to 12th grade, across various curriculums such as CBSE, ICSE, and IB. An accredited TEFL trainer and CENTA city and regional rank holder, she’s committed to creating a learning environment that nurtures self-motivated, balanced, open-minded individuals and lifelong learners.
